The MATRIX is a multi agency, multi disciplinary network of service providers which provides help and support for young people with substance misuse problems.
Formed by South Tyneside Drug Action Team (DAT) the Matrix brings together relevant agencies with the aim of providing an improved service for young people in South Tyneside.
The agencies that the MATRIX team includes are:

+ North East Council on Addictions (NECA)
+ Connexions
+ Barnardos/Streetlevel
+ South Tyneside NHS Foundation Trust
+ Turning Point/Arrest Referral
+ Youth Offending Service (YOS)
+ other agencies providing a range of substance misuse
services for Young People
