Risk

Tranquilisers are depressant and if taken with other depressants can lead to overdose.

Short term memory loss.

Injecting crushed tablets can be fatal - the chalk in tablets causes collapsed veins leading to infections and abscesses, the gel can also be fatal when it solidifies within the blood vessels.

Tranquilisers are often used in sex crimes. Victim's drinks are spiked, knocking them into a paralysis so they're either unaware or unable to prevent an assault.

Taken alongside other depressants, i.e. alcohol, increases the risk of overdose.

What to look for (appearance/use):
Mostly taken orally but can also be injected.
