What does the Matrix do?
The workers are specialised in different areas of advice and focus on particular areas of support - this is known as a 'multi agency' approach to helping the community.
The Matrix works with young people under 19, families and carers whose lives have been affected by substance use or those who are at risk of developing substance use issues.
We offer young people, families and carers a confidential service in a friendly surrounding, located in South Shields town centre.
The Matrix will see anyone who wishes to call in for further information without an appointment.
